This Crate Size Chart is a general recommendation! Determine crate size by dogs weight and height as well as breed. Measure dog from floor to top of head sitting and standing. Individual dogs within a breed or mixed breed may vary in size.  Each dog should individually be measured for the correct crate size.  Your dog should have about 2" - 4" of head room when sitting or standing up and be able to turn around and lie down comfortable. For puppies choose the proper size for his future adult size.  Please consult a pet professional for additional guidance.
